The European Parliament Elections in UK are scheduled to be held on Thursday 23rd May 2019. There are 76 MEP’s seats for United Kingdom in the European Parliament.  For these 76 MEP seats the elections are scheduled to be held on 23rd of this month from 07:00 AM to 10:00 PM. European Parliament elections are held once in every 5 years. European Parliament is represented by the Member of Parliament on behalf of the people. There are 751 Member of Parliament Positions in European Parliament out of these 751 MP seats 73 MP Positions are represented by the UK Citizens.

How to vote European Parliament Elections UK 2019?

  • visit the polling station in between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM local time on the Election Day.
  • After entering into the polling station you need to tell your name and address to the polling staff.
  • The polling staff after confirming your details in the electoral register will issue a ballot paper.
  • Ballot paper consists of the list of Candidates or list of Parties or the symbols or options to cast your vote.
  • After taking the ballot paper, proceed to the polling booth.
  • Polling booth is a private place where you can cast your valuable vote without others interference.
  • Now go through the voting instructions which are present on the top of the ballot paper.
  • Cast your vote on the ballot paper and drop the ballot paper into the ballot box.

How to vote by Post in European Parliament Elections UK 2019?

  • After applying for the postal vote you will receive the ballot papers, and envelop to the address you mentioned in the postal vote application form.
  • Ballot paper consists of the list of Candidates or list of Parties or the symbols or options to cast your vote.
  • After taking the ballot paper, mark the vote on ballot paper in privately.
  • Now complete the postal voting statement.
  • Take the marked ballot paper and completed postal voting statement and put them back into the envelop which was sent to you.
  • Now seal the envelop secretly and post the envelop to the address mentioned on the envelop.
