How to Vote in Nigeria Elections?
- Visit your nearest polling unit along with your PVC or Permanent Voter’s Card on the Election Day in between 8 AM to 2 PM.
- After reaching the polling unit, join the line to cast your valuable vote.
- The INEC official will verify your Voter Card or Voter Registration Card or PVC and checks your face whether it is matching with the photo and checks your name in the voter’s register. The INEC approves your verification by ticking a right mark against your name in the voter’s register.
- After the verification is done the INEC officer will issue you a ballot paper and marks your finger with ink.
- The front part of the ballot paper consists of the candidate’s list and the back part of the ballot paper will have the stamp and signature of the INEC officer.
- Now enter the polling booth along with your ballot paper, choose your selection by giving your fingerprint on the space provided.
- Now fold the ballot paper vertically and drop the ballot paper into the ballot box.
