There are different type of elections in Venezuela basically these elections can be classified in to two types one is National Elections and the other one is Local Elections. The National Elections refer to the Presidential Elections, Parliament Elections, and Constitutional Assembly Elections whereas the Local Elections refer to the Regional and local elections.

Presidential Elections in Venezuela:

The Presidential elections in Venezuela are held once in 6 years. The Venezuela electorate cast their vote through plurality voting system to elect the President of the country. Such elected President is eligible for re-election.
